Cracking that beast of an exam!

Updated: Nov 4, 2022

Are you trying to crack some entrance? Does it feel like it's too hard and irrespective of how much you try, chances are slim? Is this the reason you feel demotivated and disheartened?

Maybe...this is the reason why you can't study? Because in some corner of the mind, it says, "What's the point?" This is anyways not going to happen.

I hear you.

The first thing to work on while preparing for entrances is to look at OTHER benefits that you get out of the journey other than the last positive ending result.

Once this perspective is developed, the next thing to focus on is finding what you need! Self study is given. But what do you need additional help with, which subjects need more attention, additional lessons and which are already your strengths. For example, when I was preparing for my NET-JRF, Personality and Psychopathology were my strength areas and I prepared them so well, that I do not miss out any questions related to these subjects! These were my dependable subjects.

For Statistics and Research Methodology, I needed additional training. And I took it! I prepared these subjects very well under guidance. Do not hesitate to take help with subjects that are important. Today, I am one of the best trainers for Research methodology and Statistics in my field, only because I took help when needed!

Find out what works for you and make it happen for yourself!

Once you figure out what help you need with different subjects, the next step is to commit to the preparation.

Any entrance is made up of concept clarity and practice in question-solving. Do not underestimate anyone of them! One cannot be replaced by another! Remember that! I know so many people who are excellent at concepts but fall back due to lack of question solving.

And if you need any more help, I'm always here:) From tutoring for all psychology entrance subjects to entrance guidance, we have it all :)

Consistency. Commitment.

Letting yourself become one with the complete journey. These are the keys!
